How we calculated it

We query series inflation_dec_dec_pct of dataset cepal-economia-anual (CEPALSTAT) in VerDat's normalised layer, taking each country's latest available figure between 2022 and 2025. The comparison includes only the 14 countries whose latest figure is 2025, and the change is computed against the same country's 2024 value. The chart reproduces the query; the values are re-verified automatically every day.

56 rows match the query; 14 results remain in the summary.

What it means and what it does not

The comparison is based on a harmonised December-to-December series from ECLAC and includes only 14 countries reporting data for 2025, meaning figures may differ from official national statistics. This data point describes the shift recorded in a single year and does not identify its causes or define a long-term trend.

Growth, inflation, debt and tax revenue are percentages; FDI is US dollars — filter to one indicator_key before aggregating.
